Orlando Science Middle/High School will be hosting the 2024 FAMAT January Regional Competition. For team round, we will let schools register up to 2 teams for each of the six divisions: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Statistics, Precalculus, and Calculus. There will be no limit on the number of students taking the Individual test. Postmarked deadline for registration is January 13th, 2024. Please have your registration completed online and your fees mailed by that date.
Each sponsor is expected to cover a duty during the team rounds of the competition. Our parents will be covering the individual round duties. Please bring your enrollment list as downloaded from www.floridamao.org with the participating competitors’ names and ID#s highlighted.
Lunch: We will be selling cheese pizza (two slices) and soda drink for $5 per person. Enter your order number for pizza during your registration. Payment is due on the morning of contest during check in. Cash only. No food places are within walking distance to the school. If you are going off campus for lunch, please plan in advance.
Schedule: We will be following the standard FAMAT schedule for regionals.
